Texture - Image Bank

Texture in photography usually gives the image a 3d effect. It shows off the focal point of the image in more detail through the use of indents in an object. Texture is used in photography to show off the image in more detail to make the photograph more dynamic.

Texture is shown in this photograph through the detail in the leaf; this image also has reflection in it which makes the photograph look more detailed and realistic.

Depth is used in this photograph to show off texture. This is an effective way to show off texture as it also is in black and white so it shows off more detail.
